Africa has never lacked creativity, craftsmanship or innovation. What it has lacked is a global platform that celebrates its contribution with the visibility, opportunity and recognition it deserves.
Africa Design Week is a love letter to my heritage and a platform created to champion African and diaspora designers, artists, architects and makers on the world stage.
After 20 years working across the global interior design industry, I have seen first-hand the extraordinary talent, ideas and creativity coming from Africa and its diaspora, and the opportunity to give those voices greater visibility within the global design conversation.
Our vision is simple, to create opportunities, build meaningful connections and provide a platform that supports African and diaspora creatives to grow, collaborate and reach new audiences around the world.
Let's build the future of African design.
